And the Best Translated Books of 2014 are...

Just a few hours ago, the Fiction and Poetry winners of the 2014 Best Translated Book Award were announced. Created back in 2007 by the Three Percent blog with the University of Rochester and funded by Amazon's Giving Program, the BTBA gives US$ 5,000 to the winning author and translator.

Drum roll...

"Seiobo There Below," written by László Krasznahorkai and translated from Hungarian by Ottilie Mulzet. Krasznahorkai is the first author to win the BTBA twice, since last year his Satantango received the same honors.
