Do you want to keep updated on what eWordNews is reporting? So make sure to follow us on different social networking websites, where we share not only our content, but interesting articles, quotes, and interactions about the world of translations and literature.
You'll also get updates on RecBLOG and What's New, two of our monthly sections, which are updated every 10th and 20th of the month, respectively. Get the scoop on Collective Reading, too, which brings you some neat book reviews written by collaborators who either read a book in a foreign language or a translated version in their native language.
Finally, towards the end of the year, we update the Learning section with reviews on all literary sessions and workshops presented during the American Translators Association (ATA) annual conference, which always takes place late October or early November.
Here's how you can stay updated:
Our account is managed by Content Curator Rafa Lombardino, who shares our collective posts, as well as info on her own literary translation efforts.
Our Twitter profile―which just switched to the new layout―is loaded with relevant RTs containing links, quotes, and news about translation, literature, and publishing. You'll also get some tips on how to find inspiration, be more creative, and engage your readers.
Make sure you subscribe to our lists, with interesting people sharing publishing-relevant content and divided in several categories, including Authors, Editors & Publishers, Literary Magazines, Literary Agents, Book Critics, Bloggers, and Booksellers.
Our community page was created mainly to post our website updates, but we also share interesting content related to languages, literature, and translation in general. eWordNews recently became part of the first wave of pages to get a new layout, which is more similar to personal timelines and has a column on the left with the photos we've shared and the apps we use, as well as other pages we recommend.
As you may have already heard, Facebook changed their algorithm recently and, even if you follow a page of interest, you may no longer see all the updates being posted. Keeping that in mind, here are some tips on how to make sure you'll see all our updates:
- Click "Following" to see a portion of our updates on your timeline
- Click "Liked" to be added to our list of fans
- Select "Get Notifications" to make sure you don't miss a single post
- Optionally, select "Add to Interest Lists" if you have lists about literature, books, reading, writing, publishing, authors, languages, translations, or any other related topic
