There is a book being promoted on Facebook, whose add reads:
Become next Stephen King! Click here to make your book sell.
When you click the ad, you're directed to a book on Amazon that offers tips on how authors can sell their books online.
Nothing wrong with that; there are many ebooks with tips on how to put your book together, get it out there and reach readers worldwide.
The only problem is that this ad in particular mentions Stephen King, one of the most famous authors of thriller, suspense and horror in the world, and matches it to pictures of Edgar Allan Poe and Virginia Wolf!
Is it a marketing strategy or poor photo-name matching? You decide!
