Here are the winners of the 2013 English PEN Awards

The English PEN announced this week the winners of its 2013 awards and grants. According to the organization, this year they highlighted "neglected literary cultures," mentioning Russia, Angola, Algiers, Bulgaria and Mongolia as the birthplace of some of the authors being translated.

Here are the titles that will soon be available in English, whose publishers received the Writers in Translation awards to facilitate the publication of more international authors, as well as the titles we'll soon be able to read in English thanks to PEN Translates grants.
