As mentioned here, I've been donating my time as a translator to a volunteering effort called Contemporary Brazilian Short Stories. We basically select short stories from independent authors from Brazil, translate them into English, and feature a new slice of Brazilian reality every 1st and 15th of the month.
To celebrate one year of CBSS, we're putting together an e-Book with some of the material published so far, which will be released by the end of the year. That's pretty exciting and everybody is looking forward to it.
This literary translation effort has also been recently mentioned in one of the participating author's blog. Cesar Cruz―who contributed with his short story "The Client" back in January 1st, 2012―wrote an article about literature on the web that featured our project, so I wanted to thank him for the shout out and for participating with his creative piece.
