So much for trying to finish this book translation by the end of August... I actually didn't even see the month fly past me! All I know is that I woke up on August 1st and boom, my inbox was full of very long projects. I've translated 150,000 words for a couple of clients and managed another 90,000 or so, which means I unfortunately had very little time (16 hours total) to dedicate to the translation of "As the Twig is Bent".
I've managed to cross the 25k mark―26,725 words translated, to be exact, but still over 55k away from the end of the book. On the upside, I learned a lot about fly fishing, as Detective Matt Davis takes a well-deserved day off from the madness to go fishing with his wife.
Well, I'd like to say that the translation will be completed by the end of September, but I don't want "Murphy" to hear me and apply his silly law to me. I definitely missed following up on investigation developments, so I'll just take one chapter at a time from now on towards finding the serial killer.
